CAMP SNACKS/STORE: The camp snack/store fee is $20 per week ($40 for two weeks) and includes a cold drink and snack during store time (around 4:00 – 4:30PM daily), a nightly bedtime snack (brought to cabin areas by senior camp staff around 9:30PM) and periodical frozen treats (served several times per session on a periodic and rotating schedule during the hottest parts of the day and/or after night programs).

Camp group pictures are taken on the first or second day of two-week sessions and are included on the picture DVD/CD. Campers should wear a camp shirt for the group picture. The picture CD includes ALL pictures taken during a two-week session (this usually runs approx 100 to 150 pictures per day and includes the large group picture which is taken on the first day of each two-week session) and will be mailed to those who purchase it within four weeks after attendance.
TO REGISTER FOR ANY CAMP SESSION: The parents or guardians should complete a registration form by clicking on the link below, and following the easy instructions. Please deposit $100 (which is applied to the total fee) to ensure choice of sessions. Half the balance is due by April 15 ; the remainder is due by May 15 (Registrations ARE accepted after May 15 as long as space is available). For campers registering after May 15, send FULL PAYMENT to camp address….do not send partial payment or deposits after May 15.
After camper registration and deposit/payment is received, campers will receive a confirmation by email. Also, all campers should complete the online camper medical form at least one month prior to arrival. Call the camp office if you are unable to complete it online (423-472-6070) and we will send you one by regular mail.
In some instances, the camp fee may qualify as a credit for child and dependent care expense with The Internal Revenue Service. Check with the IRS to see if you qualify.
CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY: No refunds for late arrival. Early departure due to camper illness or family emergency may receive a pro-rated refund at the discretion of the director and based on individual case circumstances. There are no refunds for early departure due to behavioral problems or homesickness (behavior policies are sent to parents after a child is enrolled). Cancellations before April 1 receive 100% refund; after April 1, a $100 service charge applies.

MEDICAL FORM: After you register, you will need to complete a medical form for your child which will be found on your Parent Dashboard online. This form is due one month before the camper arrives. No child with a communicable disease should be sent to camp. Children with emotional/behavior problems should attend a special-needs camp.
DISTANT CAMPERS: Who fly to camp will be picked up and returned to the airport in Chattanooga ($95 service charge) . Please talk with the Camp Director about best arrival and departure times before making airline reservations.
TRANSPORTATION: The camp does not provide transportation; however, the camp may help parents arrange car pools, if requested.
DO NOT USE MAPQUEST DIRECTIONS as they are NOT accurate. The camp is very easy to get to by following the directions on the camp brochure or at our “directions” page.
LAUNDRY: No laundry facilities are available at the camp. Be sure to pack enough clothes for the length of the session. Parents should discuss with children how to take care of their clothes. Laundry for campers who soil their clothes and/or bedding is provided on an emergency basis ($25 service charge).
PARENTS: Camp Woodmont loves to have parents with special skills on the staff. If interested, please call Alyson Gondek at 423-472-6070.
MAIL: Mail is given out after dinner each day. Write your camper often, but do not mail letters after Wednesday of the week he/she is leaving. Please DO NOT send food packages since these treats discourage appetites and can cause friction. Campers are encouraged to write home often.
APPROPRIATE ATTIRE: Traditional clothing and attire is appropriate at camp. Please Avoid unusual or non-traditional clothing, jewelry, makeup, or hair styles at camp.
ELECTRONICS and OTHER ITEMS NOT TO BRING: Please do not send OR BRING the following items to camp as they cause distractions: cell phones, pagers, walkie-talkies, radios, personal CDs, food/candy, I-PODS or MP3 players, boom boxes, game-boys, knives, weapons, lighters, fireworks and any other items in this category. For safety/security and camp programming requirements, any item that is deemed questionable or not allowed at camp will be taken up by camp administration (and we cannot be responsible for their safekeeping, storage and return to you).
MULTIPLE SESSIONS: Campers may combine sessions and stay three or more weeks. Since camp staff takes a well-deserved break between two-week sessions, campers staying longer than two weeks should be picked up between two-week sessions.

Departure Time for ALL Sessions: FRIDAYS, 2 p.m. – 4 p.m.
