Summer Camp Open House

You’re Invited to Our Summer Camp Open House!
Sunday, May 21 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Choosing the right summer camp for children can be a difficult decision for parents. To assist parents in making that decision and give them a chance to “kick the tires,” Camp Woodmont, holds an annual open house. Preparing children for an overnight experience, packing and other helpful hints will be discussed during the open house.

If you are unable to attend, you may call and make an appointment to bring your family and friends up anytime – Our Maintenance Manager, Durward Hass, lives on the camp property with his family and he would be glad to meet with you personally and give you a complete tour of the camp (call 423-472-6070 to schedule a visit). You may want to combine the trip with a weekend getaway to Chattanooga, TN as there are many fun family-oriented things to do there.IMG_7631 (1024x768)

What is it about summer camp that goes so deep?

If you would like us to mail you a camp brochure,
please include your full mailing address with zip.

There’s something about camp that makes kids grow and thrive in just a short space of time. Campers test their independence from their families by learning to apply the values they’ve learned so far in a setting of strangers who quickly become a new family.

We’re so glad you’re interested in Camp Woodmont, NW Georgia’s ACA Accredited family-managed summer camp. We look forward to giving your campers a safe and caring environment where they will make lifelong memories enjoying the outdoors, challenging themselves, and making friends.

We want you to feel secure about sending your children to Camp Woodmont. We love talking to prospective parents and explaining the benefits of our experience:

  • Staff to Camper ratio average: 1:5
  • Top-rated Intensive Staff Training
  • Limited Enrollment
  • Two Generations of Family Management
  • Nondenominational Christian atmosphere,
welcoming and appropriate for children of all faiths
