Camp Woodmont is a traditional overnight summer camp for boys and girls ages 6-14. Located on 170 acres of beautiful North Georgia woodlands on top of Lookout Mountain (approximately 2 hours North of Atlanta, Georgia and 30 minutes South of Chattanooga, Tennessee) the camp's location includes hardwood forests, rolling meadows, pastures, lakes and streams, and cool mountain breezes.

Our NW Georgia location is near the three state junction of Georgia, Alabama and Tennessee and is equally accessible from Nashville, Tennessee; Knoxville, Tennessee; Birmingham, Alabama; and Atlanta, Georgia.

Your summer camp experience provides cabin living, moderate summer daytime temperatures, cool evenings around the campfire, creative counselors, new friends, talent/skit nights, and a close family-like atmosphere. Counselor/camper ratio averages 1:5.

Our program features traditional summer-camp activities with an emphasis on nature and environmental stewardship, outdoor adventure, horseback riding, noncompetitive sports, and more. The nondenominational Christian atmosphere is appropriate for children from all faiths.

Accreditation by the American Camping Association (ACA) and two generations of family management/ownership (with over 70+ years combined experience) gives campers and parents a  highly supervised program. The owners and directors, Jane Bennett and son & daughter, Tyran Bennett and Alyson Bennett Gondek, are extremely involved in hands-on leadership and supervision of all aspects of the camp. They provide individual attention to each camper and get to know all campers on a close personal basis.

At Camp Woodmont, we understand parents' concerns.

We provide campers with an atmosphere of support and encouragement.

Campers receive approval, acceptance, and appreciation--Campers become self-reliant, confident and independent.

Our limited enrollment, caring counselors, and convenient camp layout makes new campers feel secure, welcomed, and re-assured.

Two generations of family management and 70 + years combined experience means we have Extremely Close Supervision of staff, campers, and program.
